Cooper Names New Executives

Cooper Machinery Services (Cooper) has announced two executive appointments. The company has named Bernie McCoy Jr. as senior vice president of field operations. McCoy has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas and new energy industries. He has worked at TechnipFMC and Shermco Industries in engineering, project management, and field operations. McCoy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Texas A&M University.

 

Cooper has also named Kenneth Pucheu as chief financial officer. Pucheu has more than two decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. He joins Cooper from NexTier Completion Solutions where he played a role in steering the company through the pandemic to emerge as a top-performing company in the sector. Before NexTier, he held leadership positions at Keane Group Inc. and Schlumberger. Pucheu holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and executive education from Wharton and the Harvard Business School.

The company’s OEM brands include AJAX, Cooper-Bessemer, CSI, Enterprise, Gemini, Superior, TSI, and TXC. It is also a supplier of aftersales support for non-Cooper engine-compressor brands such as Caterpillar (G3600 engines), Clark, Ingersoll Rand, Waukesha (VHP engines), and Worthington.
