HTL Group has signed a three-year contract with energy company SSE covering onshore multi-site rental, repair, maintenance, and training for bolting equipment for a renewables project in Scotland. HTL Group’s scope of work includes the supply of equipment, six-month verifications and yearly recalibration for all bolting equipment onsite, 24/7 call out for repairs, technical assistance, and awareness training on all equipment.
The project covers six wind farms with approximately 250 turbines located in Perthshire and Ayrshire, Scotland.
HTL will be supplying SSE with a variety of Enerpac equipment including Cordless Torque Pumps, Tension Pumps, HMT Low Profile Wrenches, DSX Wrenches, Wind Tensioners, as well as Norbar EBT Torque Multipliers. The tools provided suit Siemens 2.3VS and 2.3CS turbines.
