Enbridge Appoints New Director
Enbridge Inc. (Enbridge) has appointed Douglas L. Foshee as a director. Foshee has more than 40 years of energy industry experience, including as chair, president, and chief executive officer (CEO) of El Paso Corp. from 2003 to 2012, as chief financial officer and then chief operations officer of Halliburton Co. from 2001 to 2003, and as chair, president, and CEO of Nuevo Energy from 1996 to 2001.
Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Enbridge is a multinational pipeline and energy company. Enbridge’s natural gas network moves about 20% of all gas consumed in the US, the company said. Its gas transmission and midstream pipelines cover about 18,952 miles (30,500 km) across North America. Its natural gas pipeline network spans 31 US states, four Canadian provinces, and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico — stretching from the far northeast corner of British Columbia to the southern tip of Texas, across to Florida, and up into New England and the Atlantic provinces.
Its natural gas transmission and midstream operations include the transportation of about 24.6 Bcf/d (696.5 x 106 m3/d) of natural gas and 273.8 Bcf (7.7 x 109 m3) of working storage in Louisiana, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and British Columbia.
Enbridge has a 13% ownership stake in DCP Midstream, a joint venture between Phillips 66 and Enbridge. DCP Midstream gathers, compresses, treats, processes, transports, stores, and sells natural gas across its network of 33 in-service plants and about 46,000 miles (74,029 km) of gathering pipe.
