Cooper Acquires Tucker Valve Seat Co.

Cooper Machinery Services (Cooper) has acquired Tucker Valve Seat Co. Based in Odessa, Texas, Tucker Valve Seat manufactures industrial alloy valve seats for critical applications such as LP, gas, diesel, natural gas, and unleaded fuels.

Cooper is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and supplier of parts and after-sales services, and emissions reductions technologies to a large installed base of engine and compressor brands. The company’s OEM brands include AJAX, Cooper-Bessemer, CSI, Enterprise, Gemini, Superior, TSI, and TXC. It is also a major supplier of after-sales support for non-Cooper engine-compressor brands such as Caterpillar (G3600 engines), Clark, Ingersoll Rand, Waukesha (VHP engines), and Worthington. Manufacturing is conducted in its facilities Texas and Kansas; while on-site services are delivered through its extensive network of field technicians operating out of fully equipped repair and overhaul shops strategically located around the world.
