Audi announced its Q2 delivery numbers. Q2 deliveries were up 16% compared to Q2 2022, while 2023 year-to-date deliveries were up 30% compared to the same period last year. “With record consumer demand for our battery electric vehicle [BEV] portfolio, a strong premium market, and better supply conditions, Audi of America is on track to have one of our best years ever,” said Daniel Weissland, president of Audi of America.
Audi delivered 5652 BEVs in Q2, all of which were various trims of the Audi e-tron. However, Audi is working hard to grow the role of BEVs in its delivery mix. The company has five fully electric models in the United States. By 2027, it will offer an all-electric vehicle in each of its core segments. The company has repeatedly stated that its future is in electric vehicles.
