The Fuel Ox Gets USDA Stamp Of Approval On Two Products

Infinity Lube Super Spray And Infinity Lube Liquid Friction Eliminator Are Now Certified With The USDA Biobased Product Label

The Fuel Ox (Fuel Ox), an international corporation that provides fuel consumers with eco-friendly fuel treatments and lubricants, announced it has earned the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Certified Biobased Product Label for Fuel Ox Infinity Lube Super Spray and Fuel Ox Infinity Lube Liquid Friction Eliminator.

According to Fuel Ox, the company’s full line of Infinity Lube products is 100% plant-based and eco-friendly and serves to improve sustainability by as much as 10X in a world where just 5% to 8% is the standard. “Infinity Lubes is the only product ever created that nearly completely eliminates friction,” the company said in a statement. “Unlike traditional lubricants that use coatings, fillers, or other toxic paraffins, Infinity Lube is free of chlorine and other heavy metals and is completely toxin-free.

Both Infinity Lube products can now display a unique USDA label that highlights its percentage of biobased content. The Liquid Friction Eliminator’s label will indicate that the product is certified 95% biobased, and the Super Spray is certified 92% biobased. Third-party verification for a product’s biobased content is administered through the USDA BioPreferred Program, which strives to increase the development, purchase, and use of biobased products.

Biobased products help address climate change by offering renewable alternatives to petroleum-based products; sequester carbon dioxide, lowering the concentration of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere that contribute to climate change; create and expand markets; are generally safer for people and the environment than their petroleum-based counterparts; and represent incredible technological advances and innovations.

The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label displays a product’s biobased content, which is the portion of a product that comes from a renewable source, such as plant, animal, marine, or forestry feedstocks. Using renewable biobased materials displaces the need for non-renewable petroleum-based chemicals. Biobased products are cost-comparative, readily available, and perform as well as or better than their conventional counterparts.

“We are very proud to display the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label on our Infinity Lube products,” said Grant Taylor, vice president of Additives and Lubricants for Fuel Ox. “We’ve been known for offering the only 100% plant-based, non-toxic lubricant on the market, and have been proven to outperform toxic petroleum-based competitors by as much as 700%, extending the life of the metal parts dramatically. This recognition will help drive these benefits home for our customers.”

“We applaud Fuel Ox for earning the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label,” said Vernell Thompson, USDA BioPreferred Program. “The label is intended to help spur economic development, create new jobs, and provide new markets for farm commodities. But the label also makes it easier for consumers and federal buyers to locate biobased products and consider planet-friendlier options during purchase decisions. By having their products become USDA Certified Biobased, Industrial Sustainability Group Inc. dba Fuel Ox joins an expanding list of businesses combatting inaccurate marketing claims and the practice of greenwashing, while also contributing to a thriving bioeconomy that decreases our reliance on petroleum.”

In the latest Economic Impact Report released by USDA, the biobased products industry supported 4.6 million American jobs, contributed US$470 billion to the US economy, and generated 2.79 million jobs in other sectors of the economy for every biobased job. Biobased products also have a substantial environmental impact, displacing about 9.4 million barrels of oil a year, with the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 14 million tons (12.7 million tonnes) of CO2 equivalents per year.
