Burckhardt Compression (Burckhardt) hit a new company milestone as its order intake passed 1 billion Swiss Francs (US$1.07 billion) since the start of its fiscal year on April 1, 2022.

In the first half of fiscal year 2022, Burckhardt recorded a 57% increase in orders compared with the previous year. Since October 1, Burckhardt continued to win large orders for applications related to solar panels, liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships, and in the petrochemical business, adding up to more than 1 billion Swiss Francs since the start of the fiscal year.

“With the launch of new products and the development of new applications in close collaboration with our customers, as well as the strong growth of our service business over the past years, we have achieved this symbolic milestone,” said Fabrice Billard, CEO of Burckhardt. “I would like to thank our customers for their trust, and our teams for their strong engagement. We are now focusing on delivering these projects to transform order intake into sales in the coming years.”
